The official FSC report and a public intelligence check answer different questions. Here is what each includes, excludes and when both should be used.
The $50 official FSC Search Report and the $29 Public Intelligence Report are separate products because they use different information and answer different due-diligence questions.
Official FSC Search Report
This private Registry snapshot may include status, registered agent, registered office, incorporation details, previous names and Registry transaction history. It is obtained on the customer?s authority and delivered privately.
Public Intelligence Report
This one-off check reveals matched information in the company?s public-source profile, including relevant Gazette, court, BVI FSC, insolvency and applicable sanctions categories.
Which should you buy?
Use the official report when Registry information is required. Use the public intelligence report when you need to check the wider public record. For material due diligence, the two are complementary rather than interchangeable.
When monitoring adds value
Both reports are one-off checks. If the relationship, loan, dispute or risk continues, monthly monitoring can identify reviewed public developments that appear later.
